Trauma

Trauma is Psychological trauma in English and “traumatic trauma” in Japanese. It is in a state of being stuck in it for a long time due to physical and mental shock caused by external and internal factors. The research on trauma began again because of the returning Vietnam War soldiers showed various symptoms from the shock from the battlefield. Later, it does not only occur in special circumstances such as wars, disasters, traffic accidents, etc., but also from even ordinary events - families: children suffer from various forms of child abuse that are received from adults including parents over a long period of time. It has been found that sexual violence is a trauma. This condition - PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), is also called “post-traumatic stress disorder”.  By the way, if you have trauma and the symptoms persist for more than a month, you will be diagnosed with PTSD,  within one month - ASD (Acute Stress Disorder), and “Acute Stress Disorder” in Japanese. (Diagnostic criteria DSM5)
